VickyAnn Xuereb

 Born May 1, 1966 in Sydney Australia, has been a self-taught dressmaker since the age of 14. Raised in Xaghra, on the small island of Gozo, sister island of Malta, her mother, Maria, a dressmaker herself, taught her the trade. As a very young child, she was raised cutting cloths, designing and sewing doll's clothes. As she grew older, creating her own wardrobe became essential, thus enouraging others to seek her services. Her first client friend was way back in 1980 and since then she has never looked back.

VickyAnn is extremely creative with extensive experience in orchestrating all aspects of women's clothing design while demonstrating attuned attention to detail and inventive qualities. She possesses excellent design skills, strong technical background and solid fashion sense to create innovative and cost effective design. She works diligently on every part of the garment from initial collection concept to adapting final products for each and  individual client.

VickyAnn's first collection, June 2015, ' That Beauty Within' was participant in a fashion show held in St Francis square named Pret a' Porter.  The collection, a timeless appreciation for warmth and security, was inspired by a natural landscape that compliments the splendour of a woman's figure, evocative of a love of nature and all things natural.

Then 'Still I Rise', November 2017 was an evening to remember as the collection was received with great enthusiasm at the Citadel Art Centre, the heart of the exceptional and predominant fortified old city - The Citadel in Victoria, Gozo.

This collection entitled, Still I Rise, was inspired by the notorious poetess Maya Angelou. It  empowers a woman to move through life with passion and zest. In her own universe she is fearless, she is strong, she is powerful. Maya Angelou said it best “I go forth alone, and stand as ten thousand.”

VickyAnn's  creative and sewing abilities have turned her into a professional designer and maker of made-to-measure women's apparel. Couture bridal and bridesmaids gowns, cocktail dresses, evening and day wear, together with dance and theatre productions are the original and creative work that has put her name high on the list of the local fashion scene. 

VickyAnn lives by the words 'Omnia Suere Optime' - sewing every piece of cloth in the best possible way.
